Awesome piece of quiet sunny paradise!

Located next to Phuket, only 30 min. speedboat ride from Bang Rong Pier, you will find the golden island of Ko Yao Noi. With a nice range of guesthouses and a few resorts (but not too much) this gem is mostly untouched.... not so crowded by mass tourism, it has mostly all the structure and so, still very peaceful. Make sure you rent a scooter in your local accommodation and go explore! Plenty of pristine sandy beaches to toast in the sun or relax at a palm tree shadow, they're all accessible by scooter or a local driver. My favourite beach places are Little Long Beach and the Ko Nok, and "island" that you can walk through it when the tide is down. Not only, the place offers many spots to visit. Pick your poison! 😄 Over the island you can find a good choice of restaurants as well as vegetarian or even great local food. There is only one 7/11 and a few ATM's here and there. Prices are only slightly higher than mainland, but understandable since it's a "remote" island, nothing absurd however.
