Review of Mira Montra Koh Mak – A Relaxing Beachfront Getaway

Mira Montra Koh Mak left a lasting impression on us from the journey to the very last day. We started our trip from Bangkok in the morning, driving through Chachoengsao and Plaeng Yao to reach Trat, which took about 4.5–5 hours. From there, we took a speedboat from Laem Sok Pier, and in just 45 minutes, we arrived at Koh Mak. The resort provided a pick-up service from the pier, and it took less than 10 minutes to reach the resort—super convenient. Upon entering the room, we were amazed by how spacious, clean, and elegantly decorated it was. There was a cozy corner to sit and enjoy the sea view, and the bed was so soft and comfortable that we didn’t want to get up. The private balcony offered an unobstructed view of the sea, giving the feeling of having our own private beach. The resort also features a medium-sized outdoor swimming pool, perfect for a relaxing swim. The beachfront restaurant and bar created a wonderful atmosphere, ideal for enjoying dinner or sipping a refreshing drink while watching the sunset. We also rented a motorbike from the resort to explore the island, which allowed us to fully take in the beauty of Koh Mak. Our activities for the day included lounging by the beach, listening to the sound of the waves, swimming in the pool, and enjoying a cold drink by the sea in the evening. The overall ambiance was incredibly relaxing. Room rates start at approximately 1,600–2,500 THB per night, depending on the season and room type. If you’re looking for a peaceful beachfront retreat with comfortable beds and stunning views, Mira Montra Koh Mak is a choice you won’t regret. After just one day, we already felt like coming back for a longer stay.
