Paradise on earth in Cambodia

Just left Koh Rong after a couple of days there. It is a very nice island and definitely worth a visit. But after two days, we decided to leave. The people are friendly, and it is great for a chill/relaxing time. We stayed in Koh Touch, as it read like there was more there. While there may be more bars and restaurant options, Long Set is a much nicer place to stay. We visited there for the night, and it cost us $10 each way in a tuk-tuk, and the road is still a rocky dirt track. Apparently, that’s the going rate, so I felt a bit robbed by that. It’s obviously on route to becoming similar to the islands in Thailand, but still quite a way off. If you can ignore the trash lying around all over the place. It is a nice place to reset. Also, a side note. We booked our return boat. The only info we had was that it was from Long Set Pier, and when we asked, they told us to go there. S, we had to get the tuk-tuk again, but it cost us $12 as they never seem to carry any change (conveniently), and then the ferry picked us up and then went to the pier where we stayed (Koh Touch). So definitely double-check that and don’t make the same mistake we did and waste time and money.
