Setouchi Cycling Tour. DAY 34: Sea Travel Day

After completing the Shikoku pilgrimage, today we took a ferry to Kobe. The total journey took about 4.5 hours, with a free seating fare of ¥2990 (1 adult + 1 bicycle). Tomorrow, we will visit Toji Temple in Kyoto and Kongobuji Temple in Koyasan to commemorate the 1250th anniversary of the birth of Kobo Daishi. We plan to stay in Kobe for three nights, visiting famous nearby attractions. After that, we will embark on a 20-day cycling tour of the Seto Inland Sea, starting from Kobe, passing through Akashi, Himeji, Okayama, Onomichi, Hiroshima (Miyajima), and Okunoshima. We will then travel through the Shimanami Kaido (Mukaishima, Innoshima, Ikuchijima, Omishima, Hakatajima, Oshima) to reach Imabari and Shikokuchuo City, finally returning to Takamatsu. We will then take a ferry to Shodoshima for a three-day vacation, fully enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Seto Inland Sea.
