Sunthorn Phu Monument

The Sunthorn Phu Monument is a monument built to commemorate Phra Sunthorn Wohan or Sunthorn Phu, a great Thai poet in the early Rattanakosin period who created many valuable compositions. It is said that Rayong Province is the birthplace of the father of this great artist. This monument was opened on May 25, 1970. It covers an area of ​​8 and a half rai, located past Laem Mae Phim towards Tambon Kram, Amphoe Klaeng. Inside the park is a statue of Sunthorn Phu sitting in a pose while composing a poem in front of a large pond. In front of the entrance is a replica of a Thai house.
