I would like to introduce "Jomon Ogata Station" in Kitaakita City, Akita Prefecture. This is a stop on the Akita Inland Line, and it is also a station that connects tourist attractions such as Takanosu and Kakunodate. Opened in 1963, this station has been renovated in a Jomon style following the recommendation in 2021 of the Ise-dodai Ruins as one of the World Cultural Heritage "Jomon Ruins in Hokkaido and Northern Tohoku". It is an unmanned station, so you can feel like you have it all to yourself when there are no people around☺️✨ The station is paved with stones that resemble a circular stone row, and although it is new, it has a retro, warm and nostalgic atmosphere. If you go in the summer, you can also see rice field art from the station🤍 The best time to see this is from June to September, and when I visited, it was an art design of Hello Kitty and Isedo-kun, which was very cute. As the days go by, you can feel the arrival of autumn. It's hard to see this in the city center! In winter, you can enjoy snow art, which is made with footprints, so you can enjoy the scenery of each season.
