Khao Wong Phra Chan Temple, 3,790 steps

Wat Khao Wong Phra Chan is located in Khok Samrong District, Lopburi Province. It is another temple with the most steps in Thailand. Wat Khao Wong Phra Chan will have a Chinese New Year festival from January 22 to February 5 every year. They will organize a temple fair and open for people to go up and pay homage to the Buddha's footprint. Normally, people will go up to pay homage if it is not during the festival. During the festival, there will be shops at every point of the stairs to welcome tourists who come up, except during the festival when there will be only a few shops. Things to prepare for the climb: You must be physically ready, mineral water, handkerchief, gloves, hat, long-sleeved shirt. If you go during the day, the distance will be indicated by the number of steps you have climbed. Some people take 2-3 hours to climb, but my girlfriend and I started from 12.25 to 14.00.
