The best views of Windermere

Just a few hundred meters away from the southernmost point of England’s largest lake you will find a winding trail up into the mountains that gives one of the most spectacular views of Windermere and its surrounding fells. The trail up towards Burn Knott woods is short but steep in places climbing over 150 meters in a little over a kilometre but the effort is well worth it for the vantage point at the summit. #mountains #lake #lakedistrict #trail
