[Shizuoka] Cat Station?!

#0yentravelnovember Kawane-Oyama Station on the Ikawa Line of the Oigawa Railway is one of only six stations in Japan with the word "neko" (cat) in its name. You can ride the red Abt train on the Ikawa Line! The Oigawa Railway is turning Kawane-Oyama Station into a "cat station" on February 22, 2020, which is "Cat Day." The station name has been changed to "Kawanekoyama," and a "Kawanekoyama" sign has been installed in the station building, as well as a board where users can display photos and illustrations of their beloved cats. The Oigawa Railway is also holding various events and campaigns themed around stations with "neko" (cat) in their names.
