[Shizuoka] Suzuki Tea Farm

#0yentravelnovember A tea shop I don't really want to tell you about! . . Suzuki Chaen is a small family farm in Tokuyama, Kawane, Shizuoka, where we grow, produce and sell tea. Kawane-cho is surrounded by the Southern Alps and is a mountainous area where steam locomotives run along the Oi River. Tokuyama, the village where we live, is also surrounded by mountains and is a rural area rich in nature. The scattered tea fields, combined, are less than one cho in size. We use an old and small 35K tea-making machine. We try to make sencha soft by not rolling it too much. We make sencha, kettle-fried tea and black tea mainly from indigenous species, but also from slightly rare varieties such as Misho and Fuji Midori. All of our teas are easy to make and delicious, just pour them directly from the pot into a teapot. (From the official BASE)
