This is also famous as one of the three largest dinosaur museums in the world. The museum was renovated in July and is now even more powerful than ever. It is an underground dome, and when you enter you are on the third floor, and you start by taking an escalator down to the first basement floor, but the escalator, which runs in a straight line, has an incredible futuristic feel to it... The symmetrical design looks like a spaceship🚀 or a rib... 🩻← It was designed more than 20 years ago by Kisho Kurokawa, who also designed the Nakagin Capsule Tower Building and the National Art Center, Tokyo. In the permanent exhibition, the enclosure around the Tyrannosaurus that greets you at the beginning has been removed, making the space more spacious, the number of dinosaur skeletons has increased, and fossils being exhibited for the first time in Japan are on display...! And in the newly renovated building, there is a symbolic monument of dinosaurs discovered in Fukui, the Dinosaur Tower, with five dinosaurs and one bird, all life-size 🦖 It is designed so that you can enjoy it from above or below. The new building has many storage rooms for specimens and materials collected by the museum, such as fossils and skeletons, and you can see them because they are glass-walled◎🦕 In addition, it seems that you can enjoy experiences that you don't usually get to experience, such as a full-scale fossil research experience and a fossil cleaning experience. The restaurant shop and souvenir shop have been expanded and powered up! Even though it was a weekday, many people were visiting non-stop.
