There are showers scattered along the beach, so you can take a shower for free after swimming. The sacred sites in Karatsu are quite far apart, so if you want to visit them in one day, I recommend taking a taxi or renting a car. I caught a taxi on the street, but it seems that almost all the taxi drivers in Karatsu are watching Yuri!!! on ICE (apparently it's a work order?)
