It is run by Yamamoto Foods, which makes wasabi products, and is located next to the factory. At this wasabi museum, you can learn about wasabi and try wasabi-related foods such as wasabi ice cream and wasabi inari. My parents like raw wasabi, so I also buy raw wasabi here. Fresh raw wasabi has no unpleasant spiciness, and it is delicious when grated and made into a wasabi bowl. The wasabi ice cream is the type that is kneaded all over. Izu is famous for wasabi, so you can eat it at other spots like Joren Falls. The wasabi ice cream at Joren Falls has a little wasabi paste on top of the ice cream. The type that can be eaten at the Wasabi Museum, where the wasabi is mixed in, has a sharp taste, so people either love it or hate it. (I like this type, but my wife said she doesn't like it.)
