[Yokohama Itsukushima Shrine/Kanagawa Prefecture] Visit Zeniarai Benten Shrine on a lucky day

Yokohama Itsukushima Shrine in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 It is the guardian deity of the old Yokohama village, and was founded in the Jisho era (1177-1181) by Minamoto no Yoritomo, who invited it from Toi, Izu Province (present-day Izu City, Shizuoka Prefecture). As with Itsukushima Shrine in Hiroshima, it enshrines the three Munakata goddesses, Ichikishimahime, Takirihime, and Takitsuhime. The shrine grounds include Zeniarai Benten Shrine and Toyouke Inari Shrine. The day we visited was a lucky day, so we saw many people praying at Zeniarai Benten Shrine and then purifying their money! The vermilion torii gates and drum bridge are very picturesque. There were large cherry trees at the back of Toyouke Inari Shrine and behind the Chozuya (purification fountain), and they were very beautiful.
