#hellohalloween Long, Spooky Shadows (4/5 Stars) The tall, mature trees cast long, stretching shadows across the paths as the late afternoon sun dips low—perfect for a spooky #hellohalloween photoshoot. It felt like every corner harbored a secret, especially as the light faded. The paths wind past massive, old rhododendrons and towering, mysterious pines, making the atmosphere dense and dark—ideal for that classic unsettling feeling. The witch hazels (the perfect spooky name for the season!) were pointed out by a friendly volunteer. It’s an ideal, cheap place to meditate on the spooky season and enjoy the crisp Belgian air away from the expensive, crowded city center. If you visit late in the day, the shadows dramatically enhance the experience without costing any extra.
