I was so curious why... until I climbed it myself! 💡 It’s the only cliff-hugging temple structure in Northeast China, perfectly blending the building into the mountainside. It dates back over 2,200 years to the Han Dynasty! According to the records, Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty visited 13 times and even left behind a poem titled “Eight Scenic Views of Baolin.” What to Expect: 🏯 The tower has 4 levels, and the higher you go, the narrower and steeper it gets. There’s only one narrow staircase—you’ll need to move cautiously to avoid bumping your head or slipping. If it ever gets crowded, the stairs would be totally jammed!
