No need to go to Macau, Shijiazhuang has its own Venetian! Shijiazhuang doesn't believe in tears

Macau is too far, so why not build the Venetian right at your doorstep~ How magical is this place? After visiting the ancient city of Zhengding, I rushed here! The amazing thing is, it can actually recreate the canal scenes, with European-style buildings on both sides and a blue sky backdrop. At first glance, you might really think you've traveled to Macau! Having been to the Venetian twice, I can't say it's 100% accurate, but it's about 80% there! Such a place might stand out elsewhere, but in Shijiazhuang, it fits right in, magical yet adorable, and very down-to-earth! How to find this place? After entering the building on the left side of the mall, take the elevator to the 4th floor. This floor is mostly entertainment facilities. Walk to the right and you'll pass a large area of colorful claw machines. Look for the sign for 'Canal Food City,' and then pass through a not-too-long aquarium glass tunnel to enter this magical world! I discovered this place two years ago from an interesting online post! To the locals, this might just be an ordinary local mall, which had its heyday a few years ago, enjoying the spotlight as Shijiazhuang's 'Sky Venice'; but times have changed, and its popularity has definitely waned, much like the transformation from 'little sweetheart' to 'Mrs. Cow.' Strolling around the Canal Water Street might take about 15 minutes. Unlike the Venetian in Macau, which is filled with high-end brands, here you'll find more specialty restaurants and unique shops, like Haidilao, and at the end, there's a cute penguin slide, making it a friendly place, likely a great spot for locals to take their kids! However, some details don't hold up well; many places look a bit old. Secret tip: The small bridges over the river are great for photos. Also, you can take the elevator from the South American BBQ on the 4th floor to the 5th floor, where the small bridge offers a panoramic view of the entire area. Didn't see gondolas cruising the canal, but did see bumper boats once. Didn't hear the melodious songs of handsome sailors, but did hear the laughter of a family. Maybe because I went in the afternoon, it wasn't crowded, but it wasn't deserted either. I believe it will be even livelier during the Chinese New Year!
