Gansu Jingtai Tai Wu Buddha Rock Temple

The Wufu Yan Temple Grottoes are located in Wufu Township, east of Jingtai County, Gansu, 20 kilometers away from Jingtai County. The Wufu Yan Temple Grottoes were built during the Northern Wei Dynasty, facing east to the west, backed by mountains and facing the river, named for the five large Buddha statues and thousands of small Buddha statues carved inside the grottoes. The entire grotto is 9 meters deep and 7 meters wide, with a hollow tower column in the middle, reaching the top of the cave. The tower column is square, each 5 meters wide, with niches on all four sides, each with a Buddha statue, each with a different demeanor and calm expression. There is a clay statue in each of the south and north corners of the room, with a tall shape and dignified posture. There are 7-9 rows of small Buddha statues made by molding on the north and south walls, totaling thousands, so the temple is also called the Thousand Buddha Temple.
