This hotel is perfect for a family trip to Xishuangbanna! I was torn between the Crowne Plaza and Pullman before coming to Xishuangbanna. 🏡 The Pullman has a Southeast Asian feel, with rooms that combine Dai elements with modern design. 🍃🍃 Each room has a private balcony. I booked a 2-night package, and the hotel offered a free airport transfer. ✈️ 😘 I was planning to take family photos at Manting Park, but ended up taking them at the hotel instead. 😛 They even gave me 5 free retouched photos! The photos turned out better than expected, and the pool party was a blast! 🤗 I also got to try Dai pottery and a local peacock feast for free. 🦚 The hotel even offers free laundry for 5 items. My black mud-stained white pants came out looking brand new. I'm so happy! ^_^ Breakfast 🍡 Dai specialties, tropical fruits, desserts 🍮🍨🍭, cakes 🎂, waffles, main dishes, noodles 🍲, and Western food. The breakfast is so good that even my kids, who love to sleep in, get up early every day just to eat. 🍳🍳 Room amenities The hotel has over 400 rooms. We chose a twin room (1.35 m). When we got to the room, 🤔 I checked the bathroom, shower, and bed. Everything was spotless, and the bed was super comfortable. 🌻🌻 Things to do with kids Pets: Cute pet park 🐥, talking birds 🐦, and two real peacocks in the lobby. 🦚🦚 Crafts: Dai pottery, Dai paper, elephant foot drum painting, Dai brocade weaving... all of which are unique to Xishuangbanna. 🍀🍀 Pool: A huge pool surrounded by tropical rainforest 🌴, with a children's pool next to it (bubble party every day from 15:00–16:00). Entertainment: Children's slides, swings, running track, pink beach, etc. 🏖️🏖️🏖️🏖️🏖️ Shows: Dai welcome dance, toasting song, and clown shows in the afternoon and evening. 🌻🌻 There are also many other activities, such as coconut tree climbing, little chef, mudfish catching, tea cake making, and tea ceremony classes. If you have time, you can try them all. 🍀🍀🍀 Dining You have to try the local food when you come to Xishuangbanna. The peacock feast 🦚 includes colorful sticky rice, grilled fish, grilled meat 🥩, and various cold dishes, along with a large portion of rice noodles for 2–3 people. I heard their Hani bamboo chicken set is also very popular. 😁 If you don't want to eat at the hotel, ordering takeout is also very convenient. Nearby attractions 10 minutes from the Flower Garden 🌷 and Manting Park, 15 minutes from Gaozhuang Xishuangjing and Starlight Night Market (there's a free shuttle bus 🚌 every day), and 20 minutes from the airport. ✈️ [About taking photos] 📷 The hotel has a pagoda, a huge central lawn 🍀, various rainforest banana leaves 🍃, natural scenery, and Dai elephant 🐘 stone carvings. You can take photos with your camera or phone in no time. The hotel also offers travel photography, and you can book a makeup artist.
