Irrefutable, porcelain is the ambassador of Chinese aesthetics

What is the essence of porcelain? It is the refinement and transformation of life. The so-called rebirth, perhaps, refers to porcelain. From clay to gem, the fire's roasting elevates the soul to the sky. I saw a kind of perseverance and dedication at the Jingdezhen China Ceramic Museum, where even a slight color must be completed with meticulous care. Temperature, humidity, brushes, pigments, everything is naturally perfect. The Jingdezhen Ceramic Museum houses a collection of approximately 20,000 masterpieces produced in Jingdezhen from the Neolithic period to various historical periods, including over 500 national treasures. There are celadon and white porcelain from the Five Dynasties; Qingbai porcelain from the Song Dynasty; blue and white porcelain, eggshell porcelain, and underglaze red from the Yuan Dynasty; blue and white porcelain, polychrome porcelain, doucai, and various colored glaze porcelains from the Ming Dynasty; and dozens of categories of fine ceramics from the Qing Dynasty. The museum also holds a collection of more than 600 paintings and calligraphy works from the Ming, Qing, and contemporary periods, including precious works by 'The Eight Masters of Jinling' and 'The Eight Friends of Zhushan'. The museum's collection also includes more than 80 miscellaneous items such as jade, gold and silver ware, inkstones, steles, and stone carvings.
