Blowing Prayer Flags, Moving Blessings | The "Secret" Behind Guanyin Temple

Wake up naturally in Barkam and head to Guanyin Temple along Route 317. The large area of prayer flags behind Guanyin Temple attracts everyone. Before arriving, you can only imagine the colors, but after arriving, the shock lingers in your heart. It was raining lightly when we set off, but it was sunny when we arrived at Guanyin Town, and the sun occasionally peeked out. As we climbed the mountain, the clouds floated around us as the altitude increased. This happened every day, but each time we felt as happy as the first day. Inside the hall, there is a room with prayer wheels, and people walk around the square room in circles. There are elderly people, children, adults, and monks, all with focused eyes. The prayer wheels are the reason why Guanyin Temple is famous. The temple enshrines the Four-Armed Guanyin, a sacred figure in the hearts of believers. Inside the room, there are various Buddha statues on all sides. You need to climb a few narrow wooden steps to enter the room where the Four-Armed Guanyin is enshrined. The moment you see the statue, you feel calm and peaceful, and a sense of compassion arises. After leaving the main hall, we walked to the back mountain, where there were almost no people. After walking for a few hundred meters, you can see the prayer flags covering the mountain wall, fluttering in the wind with the sincerity of those who made wishes. It seems that every mountain in western Sichuan has prayer flags, but only Guanyin Temple has such a large area of prayer flags. The prayer flags, floating clouds, and occasionally flying eagles are shocking and moving.
