Jinan Travel Guide: Itinerary Day 1: 1. Baotu Spring—Quancheng Square—Black Tiger Spring—Liberation Pavilion—Kuanhouli. Baotu Spring: As a landmark of Jinan, Baotu Spring is especially charming in winter. The spring water is steaming and crystal clear, and you can see small fish swimming happily. Here, you can feel the warmth and vitality of Jinan. There are also cultural relics such as the Li Qingzhao Memorial Hall in the scenic area. Recommended visit time: 1–2 hours. 2. Quancheng Square: A large square in the center of Jinan. In winter, the square is lit up with warm lights and filled with people at leisure. You can enjoy the night view of Jinan and feel the prosperity and vitality of the city. Recommended visit time: 0.5 hours. 3. Black Tiger Spring: One of the four famous springs in Jinan. The spring water is rapid and sounds like a tiger roaring. Here, you can see Jinan residents lining up with buckets to fetch water. Recommended visit time: around 1 hour. 4. Kuanhouli: A historical and cultural district in Jinan. The ancient buildings and authentic snacks are unforgettable. At night, the district is brightly lit, as if you have traveled back in time. You can taste local snacks such as oil cake and sweet soup. Recommended visit time: 1–2 hours. Day 2: 1. Furong Street—Qushuiting Street—Baihuazhou—Daming Lake Chaoran Tower. Furong Street: Close to Kuanhouli, this is a food paradise during the day, with a variety of traditional foods such as stinky tofu and barbecue. Recommended visit time: around 1 hour. 2. Qushuiting Street: This street has a strong Jiangnan style. The street follows the water, and the water accompanies the street. On one side are old houses with blue bricks and broken tiles, and on the other side are clear springs with green algae. You can also taste the old Jinan specialty, sour sauce. Recommended visit time: around 1 hour. 3. Daming Lake: The pavilions and towers are scattered among the lakes and mountains. You can choose to take a boat on the lake or stroll along the lake to enjoy the lake view. There are also attractions such as the Arctic Pavilion, Tie Gong Temple, and Lao She Memorial Hall by the lake. Chaoran Tower is the most worthwhile place to visit. You can overlook the entire lake from the top. Recommended visit time: 2–3 hours. Transportation: You can choose a yellow bike or bus to travel between attractions in the city. In special circumstances, you can take a taxi. Accommodation recommendations We recommend staying near Daming Lake, Quancheng Square, or Kuanhouli. Most of the attractions are nearby, and the convenient transportation can save you time and energy.
