Jeonju Hanok Village – Tradition Draped in Blossoms

#cherryblossom25 Jeonju Hanok Village during cherry blossom season is like walking through a storybook. The traditional hanok houses look especially beautiful with branches of soft pink draped over rooftops. I wandered the narrow lanes, sipping makgeolli and snapping photos of the blossoms with tiled rooftops and wooden doors in the background—it felt like time had slowed down. Street performers played music under the trees and the whole place felt festive but still authentic. The cherry blossoms here aren’t the biggest or boldest, but the atmosphere is unmatched. It’s springtime Korea at its most nostalgic and poetic.
