The Daikokusama Monaka sitting in the warm Zenzai is cute ♡ The mochi is smooth and soft. This is a recommended spot to replenish your energy with gentle sweets. [Soba Restaurant Tanakaya] This Izumo soba restaurant is located right next to the second torii gate. People gather as soon as the store opens, write their names in order, and wait about 20 minutes before entering the fully booked store. I ordered Sanshoku Warigo Soba (¥1,254) with Idenishi ginger and sweet potato tempura. The soba noodles served in the warigo are dark in color and chewy. They go well with the condiments on top, and the smooth texture makes it easy to eat three layers in one go. I ordered some kakiage, which I ordered because I was curious about Izumo ginger. The refreshing aroma of ginger and the sweet potato made it a crispy snack that was very delicious. At Tanakaya, you can order a single layer of warigo soba, so it's easy to adjust the amount you eat! [THE GIFT IZUMO] A cafe that uses herbs from Izumo, where medicinal herbs have been passed down since ancient times. From the window seats, you can get a good view of the people passing by on the busy approach to the shrine. The soy cream baton cake is a snack that does not use eggs, dairy products, or refined sugar, but it has a gentle taste that makes the most of the ingredients. They regularly hold various workshops, and I thought it would be nice to have a cafe like this near my house.
