This is an Osaka Prefectural Museum adjacent to the Ikegami-Sone Ruins, a Yayoi period ruin. I had been here quite some time ago, so it had been a long time since I last visited. The atmosphere was different from before, so I asked the staff, and they told me that they were gradually renovating it. The museum's mascots, Kaito the dog and Ryu the dragon, gave us a commentary, and they also sold some goods. It's a great museum to learn about Yayoi culture. You used to be able to go inside the large structure at the Ikegami-Sone Ruins, but now it seems you can only go inside during events. A little further away, on the Izumiotsu City side, there is also a learning center. 🕰️Opening hours: 9:30-17:00 🏖️Atmosphere/Facilities: Fun and educational. Yayoi people cosplay available.
