Southern Osaka City - Izumi

I've been to Osaka so many times, but it seems that I haven't taken the time to explore the surrounding non-touristy towns. This time we had enough time for our trip, so we decided to go to Izumi, one of the small towns in Sakai City in southern Osaka Prefecture. There are many hidden shops in the small town of Izumi. You need to slow down your pace to appreciate the unique beauty of this town! On a clear afternoon, looking at the flowers blooming all over the city, as the setting sun gradually dyes the sky a calm orange-red, it is time to find delicious food for a sumptuous dinner. What’s surprising is that there is a tatami-themed izakaya in the town, with enthusiastic boss and employees, a warm Japanese-style room, and the whole room is filled with the aroma of tatami.
