I stayed at the Ferman Sultan Hotel in Istanbul and absolutely loved it!

I stayed at the Ferman Sultan Hotel in Istanbul and absolutely loved it! I spent a few days in Istanbul in mid-May and stayed at the Ferman Sultan Hotel, located at Binbirdirek Mahallesi Suterazisi Sokak No: 8 Fatih-Sultanahmet, in the heart of the old city. The hotel is only a few minutes' walk from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, which is a real boon for tourists! 🚶‍♀️ The location is definitely one of its highlights, with attractions within walking distance, making it very convenient to get around. The hotel itself is decorated in a Türkiye style, warm and retro. The reception at the front desk was very welcoming upon arrival, and the check-in process was smooth. They also recommended nearby places to eat and play, and the service was top-notch. The room was very comfortable. I booked a standard room, which felt spacious and bright with a high ceiling. The room was fully equipped with ironing facilities, a safe, and air conditioning. The bathroom also had slippers and a hairdryer. Although the bathroom had some minor flaws, with some rust in places, it was generally clean and comfortable. Breakfast here is on the rooftop terrace, and the view is simply stunning! You can see the Sea of Marmara and catch a glimpse of the Blue Mosque. Sitting there in the morning and watching the scenery puts you in a great mood. Breakfast is typical Türkiye style, with my favorite honey and a variety of fresh yogurts, which is great! 🍯 There are also many restaurants nearby, and if you like to try different cuisines, this place will not disappoint. I highly recommend trying the specialties at Atölye Restaurant, as well as the Türkiye flavors at Mivan Restaurant & Cafe, which are really good. I also went to Gulhane Sark Sofrası, where the kebabs were super delicious! Don't miss it. 🍽️ Although the overall experience was great, there were some minor drawbacks. The main one is that the breakfast menu is a bit repetitive, and it would be better if it changed slightly every day. In addition, the sound of prayers at 5am may affect light sleepers, so be prepared for this in advance. 🕋 In short, the Ferman Sultan Hotel not only has a great location, but also excellent service, making it a great value for money overall. I would definitely consider staying here again next time I come to Istanbul! 👍
