The northernmost lighthouse on Ishigaki Island offers a 180-degree view of the sea. It is also the only love lighthouse in Okinawa.

The Hirakubozaki Lighthouse (Hirakubozaki Lighthouse) is the northernmost lighthouse on Ishigaki Island. It is also selected as the love lighthouse in Okinawa Prefecture. It is very suitable for watching the sunset either during the day or in the evening. Although this viewing platform is not big and you cannot go inside the lighthouse to visit, it is one of the top three attractions I visited in Okinawa this time. The sea view I saw there was truly unforgettable. If you have enough time, it is highly recommended that you spend half an hour here to see the sea. As you can see from the map below, Hirakubosaki Lighthouse is at the northernmost part of Ishigaki Island, while Ishigaki City and the Fusaki Beach Resort Hotel where we stayed are located in the south. The drive from south to north takes about an hour.
