Victoria Falls — The Trip of a Lifetime!

We had the privilege to visit Victoria Falls—seriously, the stuff of bucket lists! 🌍💦 Victoria Falls Start at the Zimbabwe side for the fullest, most Insta-worthy views (70% of the falls belongs to Zimbabwe). You won't miss much from Zambia unless you’re after the Devil’s Pool (but heads up: it’s closed in the wet season anyway!). There are many lodging, guest house and nice hotel, but be sure to book early (think 6 months ahead) for cheaper rate. Otherwise, base yourself at N1 Hotel & Campsite Victoria Falls (738 Adam Stander Dr)—affordable and acceptable. The location wins: minutes from many good restaurants, Elephant Village, shops and malls. The Lookout Cafe - Wild Horizon Perched over Batoka Gorge, this café in Victoria Falls is all about jaw-dropping scenery and a solid lunch—even better if you book a table near the edge. But credit card transactions incur 3% fee. Baines Restaurant Located on Zambezi Dr, Baines made a perfect dinner place. You won't be able to see sunset here, but the pink dusk and ominous moon rise more than makes up for it. Getting Around We walk to most places and take a taxi for the return trip as we're tired, and especially when its dark. Taxi are abundant here, but best ask for a contact number for convenience, or you can ask the restaurant to book for you. Connectivity eSIM is not an option for this country, they're just too expensive. We bought a physical SIM at NetOne (they have a shop inside the town, next to a PickAndPay for your supermarket needs). 5USD can get you 5GB that's valid for 30 days.
