At this season, you can see many white swans swimming by the lake. It’s recommended to come between 4-6 PM when the light is the gentlest; photos taken then have a natural filter effect. Day 2: Chaerhan Salt Lake - 🥰 Real experience: 1. Chartered car is really convenient! The distances between attractions are far, driving yourself is tiring, and the driver will also take you to less crowded scenic spots. 2. Riyue Mountain is at a high altitude, remember to bring a jacket and avoid strenuous exercise. 3. When taking photos with local herders’ lambs, remember to ask the price first; usually about 10 RMB lets you pet them to your heart’s content. - 🍜 Food recommendations: Yogurt, hand-pulled mutton, yak meat hotpot—Qinghai’s dairy products are amazing!
