It is adjacent to the historic Baolun Pavilion and offers a unique accommodation experience. 💫|Design Wenyutang consists of two Ming Dynasty Huizhou buildings, originally the residence of a Xin'an TCM family and a Huizhou salt merchant. The owner purchased the buildings in 2005 and began restoration work in 2017. After two years of planning and three years of careful restoration, the hotel retains its original wooden structure, with wooden beams and columns, and mortise and tenon joints, achieving the concept of "restoring the old as the old". The hotel blends classical and modern elements to create a unique charm. 🏠|Rooms Wenyutang has 8 rooms, each inspired by the eight elegant arts of ancient Chinese scholars: qin, chess, calligraphy, painting, poetry, wine, flowers, and tea. The rooms feature wooden furniture, creating a cool and refreshing atmosphere that retains the beauty of Ming-style furniture and perfectly embodies the essence of Huizhou aesthetics. 😇|Public Areas The hotel's public areas include a café, restaurant, bar, tea bar, and the "Ruins Café" in the lobby. These areas have been transformed into works of art by artist Wang Hao, based on Huizhou cultural elements.
