Lazy Traveler's Guide to Huangshan: Easy and Effortless! Huangshan in November is a sight to behold, with its vibrant autumn colors. My friend and I just returned from a trip there, and we were blown away by the stunning scenery! Although we only had one day to explore Huangshan, I prepared a one-day itinerary to share with you all. 🚗Transportation: 👉🏻From Huangshan North Railway Station, take a bus (fare: CNY 30) directly to Huangshan Scenic Area. The journey takes about an hour. It's recommended to arrive a day in advance for better itinerary planning. 🕐Itinerary: •08:00: Enter from the south gate of Huangshan and take the Yungu Cableway up the mountain. Start early to avoid long queues for the cableway. We only waited for 10 minutes before getting on the cableway. •08:30: Arrive at White Goose Ridge, the starting point for hiking. If you reach the mountain before 8:30, you might catch a glimpse of the spectacular sea of clouds! •09:30: Arrive at Shixin Peak, where the viewing platform offers breathtaking views and is perfect for photos! •09:45: Continue to the Flower on a Pen Peak and marvel at the wonders of nature. •10:30: The Monkey Watching the Sea spot requires a detour, but if you're short on time, you can skip it. Huangshan has so many beautiful spots, so it's important to prioritize. •12:00: Have lunch at Xihai Hotel. There are plenty of dining options on the mountain, so no need to worry about going hungry. •13:00: Head to Paiyun Pavilion for a panoramic view of the West Sea Grand Canyon. The scenery is absolutely stunning! Consider heading back from here to make the most of your time. •14:00: The Flying Stone spot is currently under maintenance, so you can skip it and save time. •14:30: Reach Bright Summit, the highest point of Huangshan, where you can take a break and refuel. •15:00: Challenge the Hundred Steps Ladder. It's a bit steep, so be sure to protect your knees on the way down! •16:00: Finally, arrive at the Guest-Greeting Pine spot. Don't miss the chance to take a photo here! It's only a 10-minute walk to the cableway. •16:30: Take the Yuping Cableway down the mountain. The last cableway on weekdays is at 17:10 (17:40 on weekends), so plan your time accordingly. ⭐️Special Reminder: Tiandu Peak and Lotus Peak are open alternately, and Tiandu Peak is currently open. If you want to climb these peaks, consider staying overnight, as time may be tight. ✨Day 2 Recommendation: We also visited Taiping Lake near Huangshan, which is equally enchanting. The clear blue water, rolling hills, and colorful autumn leaves create a picturesque scene. Taking a ferry to explore the vibrant autumn colors on both sides of the lake feels like stepping into a beautiful painting.
