🍁Southern Anhui Fall Travel Guide🍁 🚄Transportation: • 📍Huangshan North Railway Station: Walk for 6–7 minutes after exiting the station, then take a bus directly to Hongcun. Tickets cost 💰CNY 30 per person, and the journey takes about 70–80 minutes. • 📍Yixian East Railway Station: Walk for 3–4 minutes after exiting the station, then take a bus directly to Hongcun. Tickets cost 💰CNY 8 per person, and the journey takes about 40–50 minutes. 🏨Accommodation: • Hongcun is highly commercialized, with many dining and accommodation options. We recommend staying outside the Hongcun Scenic Area for convenience. 🌄Attractions: • 📍Lucun Viewing Platform: The best time to visit is at sunrise when the morning mist is present. We recommend arriving 30 minutes before sunrise (around 6:30 am). Walk for 7–8 minutes from the viewing platform to reach Lucun. Admission is currently free. You can stroll through the village and visit the Wood Carving Building. • 📍Tachuan: Walk for about 30 minutes from the south gate of Hongcun, or take a shared electric bike or local tricycle. If you have the energy, you can hike from Hongcun to Tachuan, Fengdeng, Xieli, Qishu Lake, and back to Hongcun. The hike takes 3–4 hours. We don't recommend hiking on rainy days. • 📍Qishu Lake: Walk for 5–7 minutes from the west gate of Hongcun. The best time to visit is before sunrise when the morning mist is present. • 📍Hongcun: Tickets 🎫 cost CNY 94. Admission is free on Wednesdays (advance reservation required). 🍽️Food: • 🐟Stinky mandarin fish: Group meals are more cost-effective. • 🍮Fermented tofu: Try the fermented tofu at Zhongjie Popo. • 🍜Pickled vegetable noodles: Try the noodles next to "Yijian Xitouba." They're delicious. 📸Photography Tips: • ☀️Weather: Check the weather in advance. Sunny days are best for photos. • 👗Clothing: The Hongcun Craft Market opposite the Hongcun bus stop has dresses, qipao, shawls, and other clothing that are perfect for photos. 💡Other Tips: • 🚗Transportation: Public transportation is available throughout the trip.
