Kawgun Cave

With limited time, our guide chose this cave as one with less tourists, easy access "and had everything" It is very old as shown by fenced of archaeological items. Reclining Buddha and temple etc,but fascinating the thousands of little carvings etched on the rock, how they got to some places is mind boggling. We also enjoyed the wild monkeys (Rhesus macaque) climbing the rocks at the entrance. The cave is not very wide and long like sat dan cave. However, this place has some ancient statue and buddha paintings on the cave wall and it is an interesting place to visit. If you are a good photographer, you can take so many nice photos in different angles and different locations around this area. If in the area, visiting at least one cave is a must! #thingstodo#familytravel
