I have a Chinese palate 👅 and often crave Shanghainese cuisine 🥢. I heard about a new noodle shop, Fresh Crab Roe Specialty Shop, opening in Tseung Kwan O, so I decided to stop by this afternoon. It wasn't crowded, so I had a comfortable and relaxing seat, and enjoyed a simple Shanghainese meal! This signature crab roe shop 🧡 is a must-try. The Black Golden Crab Roe Noodles $70 are a must-try. The rich, fresh crab roe is paired with a unique squid ink-infused hand-cut noodles, and the surface is covered in shimmering golden crab roe. It's bursting with flavor, color, and aroma! As someone who loves spicy and sour flavors, I had a bowl of wonton noodles in hot and sour soup $54. It's rich and filling, and the yangchun noodles are filling. For a healthier option, you can switch to yam noodles. Another main course is the fried rice cakes with XO sauce $56. The smoky and chewy rice cakes are very appetizing and flavorful. I love them!
