Silvermine Beach for picnic in Mui Wo Island.

Silvermine Beach is the main beach in Mui Wo, Lantau Island. The Silvermine is named after Silvermine bay, where the beach is located. There are two ways to get to this beach, by ferry or bus. If you take a ferry, catch it from Central Pier Number 6. The ferries run pretty frequently, as you can see from their schedule. If by bus, you can also catch bus 3M from Tung Chung to Mui Wo. The Beach is long and relatively clean. It has fine white sand, suitable for beach playing. It also offers all the usual facilities, such as changing rooms, toilets, and lifeguards, in addition to a couple of snack shops, restaurants, and a resort located next to it. #beach #island #outlyingisland
