Walking through the maze...M+ second floor exhibition hall

I visited for the first time on November 11, the last day of free admission to M+. I made an appointment online and arrived at noon. The staff scanned the QR code in front of the elevator and I went directly to the second floor. There was a vast atrium under the skylight, and the exhibition halls were surrounded by the atrium. I thought it would be easy to walk around, but it turned out to be like a maze. The exhibition halls of various sizes are like small grids within a large frame, and can be roughly divided into East, South, West, and Shick Halls. The two exhibition halls in the southeast are small grids within a large frame. The visiting route is circular, with natural entrances and exits: The exhibition name of the East Hall is "Objects, Space, Interaction", which focuses on displaying spiritual and conscious content and its expression methods; The exhibition name of the South Hall is "Individual, Origin, Expression", which is mostly finished products in the world, which is the application of art in life. The West Exhibition Hall is currently where the "Yayoi Kusama Exhibition" is held. It was not officially open to the public that day, so I was unable to enter. Originally the North Gallery, it is now called the "Sigg Gallery". Sigg is a Swiss collector who half-sold and half-donated a number of contemporary Chinese collections, which are now put together into an exhibition called "From Revolution to Globalization." I personally feel that the prototype of the second floor is a maze, especially the Sigg Hall, because there are no windows and some of the exhibits are quite gloomy, giving it a bit of an escape room atmosphere. On the contrary, the two southeast halls have large windows from time to time to indicate the location, and sometimes the exhibits are like signposts, giving people the feeling of "I was here"! 😂 We toured the second floor and watched "Hong Kong: Here and There" on the ground floor. It was already half a day. We left to watch the sunset at West Kowloon. It was almost time. The M+ official website has detailed information, including ticket booking, information on various exhibitions, activities, and facilities. If you don’t want to get lost in the maze, you can do some homework first! 😜#LocalTourism #HongKongGoodDestinations
