Eat in Cheung Chau | Daozhongfangyan | A must-drink for cooling off: candied lemon soda

#Cheung Chau has many food options. We had already locked on waffles and shrimp cakes before we set out. Our first stop was one of the popular restaurants, "Dao Zhong Fang Yan". #Wofuandshrimpcakes After getting off the boat, I walked quickly towards my destination and was lucky enough to get the last two seats indoors. The outdoor seats were soon filled up as well. The weather was too hot, so I ordered two cold drinks, one was candied lemon soda and the other was candied strawberry soda. The original price of one drink was 40 yuan, and one drink with breakfast was 24 yuan. In comparison, both waffles and shrimp crackers prefer the stronger candied lemon soda. There were originally three flavors of homemade candied soda, but unfortunately the pineapple supply was out of stock when I visited. The made-to-order All Day Breakfast ($95) is here, with croissants, herbed pork sausage, smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, buttered corn, bacon and salad. It is very rich and tastes good. I especially like the hot and tender scrambled eggs with the waffles and shrimp cakes.
