Head to Chocolux, ground floor shop, Siberia Fur Building, 29 Des Voeux Road Central, Central. The ground floor of the Siberia Fur Building was originally a fur shop. This striking red building, completed in 1967, has 14 floors. Its facade is extremely narrow, and it's said that the staircase was shared with the adjacent China United Bank Building at No. 33, with a single door connecting each floor. The ground floor shop has now been transformed into Chocolux Cafe. It has a retro style, with leather stools, an old piano, and vintage posters. The seating is spacious and comfortable. Take the elevator to the first floor; one wall inside is displayed whole pieces of fur. The first floor is a glamorous vintage shop, where the owner displays his collection of antiques, clothing, accessories, and vinyl records—it's like a small museum. On a yellowed wall in one corner, the words "Furs Cold Storage" still remain, below which is a dimly lit small room, sparking endless imagination. In a small building tucked away in the gaps, there's also the nearby Pedder Building. Another legendary building that has witnessed different eras and still stands.
