Kowloon Park - A green oasis in busy Tsim Sha Sui

#falladventures #travel #familytravel It was a green oasis right in the busy Tsim Sha Sui area. We realised that it was just at walking distance from our hotel, Prudential, and so we walked till there. We entered through a gate and walked through some Comic characters, some known but mostly unknown to me. Then we sat for some time at the pond, which had so many little turtles submerging. A day after Cyclone Tapah, the place was a bit messy. Workers were cleaning. Then we found the aviary. Never fond of birds or animals in cage, but that's our personal preference. The surprise was the flamingos. Yes we didn't do any research before heading there. So we weren't aware. Absolutely loved that. I would surely recommend Kowloon park for anyone looking for something else to do in Hong Kong, rather than ticking off the tourist brochure places. Like the pictures if you enjoy them!
