Eight colors of xiaolongbao, each showing the skill of cooking

The weather is very good today. After three weeks of rain, it is finally a sunny day ☀️. Of course, I have to go out for a walk! We came to Tung Chung to visit Scenic Hill. Before leaving, we went to Citygate to have tea and eat a meal of the internet-famous dumplings! Location: Walk through the atrium of Citygate East's boutiques and go up one floor to the elevator. Environment: There is a glass window kitchen next to the storefront, where you can see how the chef prepares the food. The interior area is not large, but the tables are arranged in an orderly manner, giving a full sense of space. It is not decorated like a traditional teahouse, but is dominated by light gold. Plum blossom paintings hang on the wall to add elegance. The overall look is not gorgeous but elegant and decent. Service: Tea was served as soon as we sat down, priced at NT$8 per person. There are eight flavors of xiao long bao, namely white original flavor, green 🥒 loofah, brown foie gras, black black truffle, yellow cheese, orange 🦀 crab roe, gray 🧄 garlic flavor, and red Sichuan flavor. There is also a piece of paper providing suggested eating methods, from light to strong flavor. Personally, I think if you haven't eaten it, you should try it once, it is definitely worth it! Because the skin is very thin, the gravy will burst out when you bite it, and the gravy is full of flavor. The taste of each one is very different. After trying them, you can find the one that suits your taste and order one of them next time. I think the quality of this soup dumpling is as good as Din Tai Fung! 🥢Braised pork with pork ribs🥩Pork bone ramen🍜$88 Three pieces of braised pork with a bowl of dandan noodles. The soup base is a milky white pork bone soup, which is sweet and rich. The braised pork is equally fat and lean. Although it feels a little greasy at the beginning, the meat is stewed very soft and tender 👍🏻, with a first-class taste. The amount of noodles is just the right amount for one person, not too much! 🥢Royal Chinese🍖Plum Bone $108 This is recommended by the chef. The portion is not large, and each bone is marinated very well, with a slight sourness and salty flavor of preserved plums. It should be great with rice! 🥢Palace donkey rolls $48 This is my first time trying this dessert. The red bean filling is wrapped in a soft and sticky glutinous rice skin, which brings out some sweetness, and the surface is sprinkled with soybean powder.
