Tai Lam Country Park

#hkonbudget Tai Lam Country Park is one of my favorite hiking spots in Hong Kong, especially because of the Thousand Island Lake. The reservoir, with its scattered islands, looks almost surreal—like a scene from a travel magazine. The trails are surrounded by lush forest, and along the way, you can spot birds, butterflies, and even monkeys if you’re lucky. What makes it extra special is that it’s completely free, so you can enjoy hours of nature without worrying about your wallet. It’s a great way to escape the city and enjoy fresh air and wide-open views. #hkonbudget
