It felt very chill, so I chose to dine here. Two of us ordered 2 appetizers, 2 main dishes, and 2 mocktails. The portions of the 2 appetizers were larger than expected. Both batters were not too thick, very crispy, and not greasy. The salt and pepper squid🦑 was chewy but not too tough. It can be dipped in tartar sauce. If you don’t want it too rich, you can add lemon🍋 juice or lime🍋🟩 juice. The onion rings had moist onions with a rich texture and distinct layers. The onion🧅 flavor was slightly sweet, while the batter was a bit salty, creating a nice contrast. The German crispy fried pork knuckle had a surprise! When served, the waiter lit the pork knuckle on fire right in front of us. After the flames died down, the waiter carefully cut the pork knuckle into small pieces for easy eating. Another appreciated detail was that the restaurant did not pour sauce over the pork knuckle, preserving its crispy texture. The foie gras black truffle cream sauce pasta🍝 had a rich and creamy black truffle flavor. The foie gras was pan-seared and had no gamey taste. The Sick Leave mocktail had crushed mint leaves, giving it a fresh taste. The Air Force Red was sweet and fragrant.
