I tried catching and grilling shrimps in Yuen Long once before, and I didn’t expect that I could do it in the city now without having to go to more remote places. I immediately made an appointment with my friends. Location: It’s in Tai Hung Fai, a food centre in Tsuen Wan, and is easy to find. Environment: The area is quite large, with a long corridor at the door where you can wait for the elevator. Each table inside is connected to a running shrimp tank with lively prawns. Near the door is an all-you-can-eat area, with so much food that you can try all of it! What is worth appreciating is that there is no smell of oil smoke in the overall environment! Dinner: Weekdays are $338 per person, plus 10% service charge, and you can eat until 10pm! 🔸Seafood area The ice is filled with fresh seafood, including abalone, clams, whole fresh yellow croaker 🐠, squid 🦑, scallops, etc. We only took giant clams, abalone and large scallops, all of which were delicious, but we forgot to add seasoning to the abalone, so it had a bit of a fishy smell, what a mistake! But the prawns are sweet and fresh without any seasoning🥰 🔸Fresh meat area The four-compartment freezer was filled with a variety of meats, including beef ribs, mushroom and fatty beef rolls, chicken cartilage, beef, pork, etc., and each person was given a skewer of grilled eel after they sat down. The grilled eel skin was crispy and delicious, and the meat was tender and tasty, very delicious 😋! Roasted chicken cartilage is first-rate, it just takes a long time to roast! 🔸Prepared food area I never thought I could cook my own udon noodles. There are other snacks: big curry fish balls, conch🐚, garlic cucumbers, sweet radish beef brisket, fried prawns and fried crab feet🦀, etc. I was so full of them😂 🔸Dessert area🍨 There are two ice cream cabinets, one for popsicles and the other for cupped 🍨ice cream. We tried matcha, milk, milk tea and sea salt. We recommend Hong Kong-style milk tea because it has a strong tea flavor and a slightly sweet aftertaste! We also ordered waffles and garlic bread, both of which are must-try, and homemade ice cream waffles to make the perfect end to the meal! 🔸Beverage area There is Korean fruit wine 🥃 provided, with an alcohol concentration of 15%, but I felt dizzy after drinking it. I never thought that such an easy-to-swallow fruit beer could make me drunk😂 In summary, it’s great to have fun (catch shrimps), prepare your own food (grill and cook noodles), and eat and drink non-stop during a meal!
