In addition to the statue of Kwun Yum (Goddess of Mercy), the site also houses statues of various deities, such as Tin Hau (Goddess of the Sea), Budai (Laughing Buddha), and the God of Wealth. This makes it a place where you can pray for blessings in all aspects of life, including prosperity, longevity, and love. One of the most popular practices here is praying for children from Budai. Locals suggest rubbing his belly while making a wish—rub the right side for a boy and the left side for a girl. 🗓️Travel Planning: Take the MTR to Central Station and exit via Exit A. Head to Exchange Square and take bus routes 6, 6A, 6X, or 260. Get off at the Repulse Bay Beach stop. The bus ride takes approximately 45 minutes, followed by a 10-minute walk along the beach.
