[Food Review] Sunday lunch at IFC platform, a good food experience

With so many things I have to avoid, this restaurant on the 4th floor platform of IFC2 has about 90% of the menu I can’t eat. But my roasted suckling pig risotto… it’s really sinful, great texture, great flavor, really delicious, I love it. Other aspects, the starter came with a “tart tartar” bite, super tasty, the tuna meat is slightly tangy and refreshing, the tart base is buttery and sweet, and the classic chemical reaction of Parma ham and melon is very charming. The bread and cheese are crispy, I would be very happy if they served soup or wine, but unfortunately I have to work and watch my diet, so no drinking. Those few slices of salami already made me imagine the mixed flavors with wine… same story, too bad I have to work later, no drinking. The strawberry tart and the mostly homemade vanilla ice cream at the end also kept things lively. The strawberry tart is slightly sour, and when eaten with the vanilla ice cream, it’s perfect for Hong Kong, for someone like me who doesn’t like overly sweet but still loves desserts. The view is beautiful, the location is perfect for dating, but I declare I’m not on a date. And I even thought Glasshouse was still here… as soon as I sat down, five more tables of guests arrived, what kind of magnetic aura is this? But more on that below. An Italian-named restaurant, fine dining but not too formal. The downside of the restaurant? Probably the price, many things cost extra, and they also messed up the order. Also, the slightly chubby guy who seems like the manager, everyone else is wearing a tie but not you, you must be the manager, right? Damn, after seeing me wait for a while, he seemed like he wanted to rush me out, okay, I’ll order my meal first. What’s this lunchtime last order excuse? Can’t I afford to pay for the dinner menu? Both Xiao Qinqin and Biden wear Crocs, I expected to go to work later, can’t I dress a bit more casual? You’ve been glaring at me for an hour? Eye problem? Do you think I’m a nuisance? Is your restaurant really that busy? I sat down, and you got five more tables of guests, damn it, they’re just tourists in T-shirts and jeans like me. Your colleague who showed me to my seat, dark and thin, was much friendlier. Your place isn’t so fancy that people have to wear ball gowns, either put it outside or tell me when I come in, please don’t be so arrogant. If you want to look down on people, please keep it to yourself. You run a restaurant for customer service, I didn’t argue, didn’t stink, no special requests, I’m not really ugly enough to be a goblin, you didn’t have a full house, so why? Overall, 5/10 points.
