Hidden Gem! A Guide to the Sha Tin Cultural Museum in Hong Kong

I've visited countless museums in Hong Kong, but my favorite has to be the Sha Tin Cultural Museum! The exhibits are so abundant they’re dazzling, and the best part is the exhibitions are regularly updated, with the vast majority free of charge 🆓 Even when there’s a paid exhibition, it only costs 10 HKD! Getting a museum pass makes coming and going super convenient anytime～ On weekdays, you almost have the place to yourself, the air conditioning is fully on, and there are benches everywhere to rest when you get tired, making the experience top-notch! This year marks the centenary of Jin Yong’s birth, and the museum is hosting a fascinating Jin Yong character sculpture exhibition. Guess which martial arts master each lifelike sculpture represents—it's truly a paradise for Jin Yong fans! The transportation is also super convenient. I highly recommend taking the Tuen Ma Line to Che Kung Temple Station; just cross the bridge after exiting the station, and you’re there～ Don’t make the same mistake I did by walking from the East Rail Sha Tin Station and getting lost 😅 Whether you want to enrich your knowledge or just find a cool place to hang out, this spot is perfect!
