Hong Kong Restaurant Review: Chen Yue in Causeway Bay

Located on the 25th floor of Tower 535 in Causeway Bay, Chen Yue Restaurant offers stunning views of Victoria Harbour. Whether it's noon, dusk, or night, the scenery is always beautiful! The restaurant is elegantly decorated with private rooms, independent restrooms, and a large terrace where you can chat comfortably after your meal. My friends and I chose the set menu, priced at $488 per person. For appetizers, the highlight was the 'Orange Foie Gras.' The foie gras was tender and smooth, served on a crispy biscuit, offering a rich texture. The 'XO Sauce Jellyfish Head' was crisp and delicious, and quite large. The 'Scallion Oil Squid' was crispy and flavorful, making it a great starter. The 'Honey Glazed Char Siu' had tender meat with a perfect balance of fat and lean, coated in a shiny honey glaze that was very appealing. The 'Double-boiled Duck Soup with Fritillaria and Tangerine Peel' had a rich broth, complemented by the aromatic fritillaria and tangerine peel, making it soothing and refreshing. The 'Imperial Abalone Stuffed Pigeon' was a first for me. The braised pigeon was tender and juicy, with abalone stuffed inside, creating a perfect blend of flavors. The 'Clear Soup Beef Brisket' had a sweet and savory broth, with a slice of radish underneath the beef brisket, and some celery for added flavor. For dessert, we had the 'Xishi Fritillaria Pear Tea,' which combined fritillaria and pear for a refreshing taste, paired with delicate chrysanthemum tofu, making a perfect ending to the meal.
