Chinese New Year Afternoon Tea @Flower Picture Voynich

My good friend Tianmo and his family returned to Hong Kong from Canada before the Chinese New Year to celebrate the New Year! Of course I would not miss the opportunity to meet them, and we made an appointment to have Chinese afternoon tea together on the fifth day of the Lunar New Year. We chose Voynich in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui for afternoon tea. The restaurant entrance was designed with a Russian roulette wheel, which was very interesting. As you enter the restaurant, you’ll pass by this stylish bar! Walk further and you will reach the place where we will have our meal. For afternoon tea, I chose my favorite lychee oolong tea! The pure white embossed tea set is very elegant, and using it to add a touch of nobility to tea drinking. We chose the Voynich Afternoon Tea at $638/2 persons! It includes a combination of five salty and three sweet desserts placed on a birdcage stand, which looks quite eye-catching. The savory dishes include the tender crispy scallops with pomelo sauce, the crispy shrimp rolls with golden mint sauce, the fragrant black garlic crab meat dumplings, the crispy and flavorful ruby ​​chicken puffs and my favorite, the red bell pepper asparagus and fresh shrimp dumplings. The most attractive one is definitely the half-cooked crispy scallops with pomelo sauce. Friends who like desserts may be a little disappointed because there are only three kinds! Among the three dishes, there is the fragrant and smooth jasmine panna cotta, the sweet lychee juice pickled Dutch eggplant and the gold bar-like tangerine and orange film rolls. Among them, the jasmine panna cotta with the fragrant tea aroma is my favorite. Thanks to my friend who booked this afternoon tea online, it is only $190 per person and it is really worth it.
