Hong Kong Wetland Park is located in the northern part of Tin Shui Wai, New Territories. It is a world-class attraction that integrates nature conservation, education, and tourism. The park officially opened on May 19, 2006, covering an area of 61 hectares, including a 60-hectare outdoor reserve and a 10,000-square-meter indoor exhibition hall. It showcases the diversity of Hong Kong's wetland ecosystems and highlights the importance of wetland conservation. The park features multiple trails, bird hides, and educational facilities, offering visitors a rich ecological experience. Hong Kong Wetland Park boasts rich biodiversity and is a habitat for various flora and fauna. The park has recorded 297 bird species, accounting for about 50% of the local bird species. This includes rare birds such as the Black-faced Spoonbill, Great Egret, and Grey Heron.
